"We're the generation, we can't afford to wait, the future started yesterday and we're already late....
....If you're ready we can save the world, believe again, start to mend, we don't have to wait for destiny, we should be the change we want to see."
-John Legend, If You're Out There
First- tonight is going to be a long night, good thing I at least have something as nice as this to see in the morning: (this was meant to be a picture, but I accidentally filmed it!)
Just kidding- I can't load it from my phone.. I'll load it some other time. (it was going to be the sun rising.)
Anyhow, today we worked on learning/writing TFAs version of a lesson plan. I'm getting it now, however- after years of learning UNCG's version, it was slightly frustrating.
We practiced how we will be testing kids, starting Friday. The results will help us know where to begin with them in reading and what level they currently read at.
We worked on how we will decorate and a multitude of other things we will do in the classroom for the next 5 weeks. I had no idea they would have us doing that much.. But we are!
I still have a lesson plan to work on, another session tonight, dinner, and I would really love to work a shower in somewhere in there. (no worries, I'm perfectly clean, I just don't want to get up any earlier than necessary in the morning!)
Also- Joe and Kathy- since you're reading this: I am definitely not becoming a vegetarian as I still really love burgers and chicken and the whatnot but I have actually had more of the vegetarian meals do far (especially at lunch) than some of the other food!
I'll get that video of the sun up soon. It's the most positive thing I have getting up that early to look forward to!
I also really miss my dog, I sure can't wait to give him a big hug and take him running when I'm finally home again! He currently has a huge picture up as my desktop picture so I can at least see him there!
Alright- time to sit here until we get back!
Love ya!
Eric has been reading also. He's having a problem getting a comment up, but he's going to work on it. I had a problem, earlier in the day as well, so maybe the problem will correct itself. Be sure to wash behind your ears..just kidding!
